Julianne Moore Cast As Bree’s Sister

February 29, 2008

Finally, according to a TV Squad reader, Access Hollywood reported today that Julianne Moore will appear in three episodes, including the season finale, as Bree’s sister.

Additionally, Chris Carmack, known for his role on The O.C. will come to Wisteria Lane as  one of Susan’s cousins, who drops by to help the Delfinos with their taxes.

Also,  Gary Cole was cast as Katherine Mayfair’s shady ex-husband. He will first show up in the April 20 episode and is said to be recurring for the rest of the season.

Desperate Housewives Returns April 13th!

February 21, 2008

7 more episodes will air this season in addition to the 10 already broadcast through January. The show returns Sunday, April 13 at 9/8c. Episodes #416 and #417 will air as a 2-hour season finale on May 18. That means there will be 17 episodes this year (down from 23 last year).

The show resumes filming on February 25th, and it only takes two weeks to film an episode so a new one should be ready by mid-March, however if they started showing them that early they wouldn’t have enough episodes to last them through sweeps.

I’m so excited, can’t wait!

William H. Macy Wants To Move To New York

January 24, 2008

WILLIAM H. MACY is bitter his wife FELICITY HUFFMAN is “stuck in” DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES – because the show is holding back his own acting ambitions.

Macy is desperate to swap Los Angeles for New York and appear in a Broadway play with his spouse – but they’re `trapped’ on America’s west coast, due to her commitments as one of the Desperate Housewives.

He jokes, “My wife is stuck in a hit, so we’re not going anywhere for a while.
“But, as soon as that’s over, we’re talking about coming back. We want to do a play together.”

Missing Desperate Housewives!

January 20, 2008

Welcome everyone, to my humble blog. I love the show so much, I decided to start a blog about it. Obviously there isn’t much to talk about now because of the writer’s strike, but until then I’ll be posting some great clips from the show and talking about previous episodes.

Here’s some hilarious stuff from Eva Longoria as Gaby deals with trying to retrieve copies of Carlos’ off shore bank account documents–from the most recent episode.
